In 2004, a man in Colorado rented out the basement of his townhouse. Three weeks later, he was d3ad. His "tenant" has never been identified.

Al Kite was a well-liked 53-year-old man who was a kind man and a dedicated worker. He had purchased a townhouse and like most homeowners wanting to help their income, he rented out his basement.

The man who answered the ad called himself Robert Cooper but everything he put on the rental agreement was fake. Three weeks after first meeting Mr. Cooper, Al would be found in his basement in the most heinous way.

Hi! Hello! I’m Kristine.
You might know me from Beach House 34, but the podcast/vodcast is evolving. Welcome to TrueCrime.fm.

I’ve always done the heavy lifting and the deep research, but the old name just wasn't cutting it anymore. This new name fits the mission. Don't you think?

No fluff, no theories—just the facts, from start to finish. I’m glad you’re here for the next chapter. I’ll see you soon.
