[TRUE CRIME] - Murder by Mail - The Story of Cordelia Botkin

In 1898, after a family dinner, many members of the family went to sit on the front porch while one of the children ran down to grab the mail from the post office. When he got back, he brought a package. The package contained a box of chocolates and a personal note. After it was opened, several people had at least one piece of candy. Later that day, some members of the family got sick and as the hours went on, some began to get better, while others got worse.

By the next day, at least one family member had died, and not long after, another family member also passed away.
