It's 2004 and a UMass college student is driving at night in the dead of winter. She crashes her car on a desolate New Hampshire road. The airbags go off, and someone across from the crash site calls 911. By the time the police arrive, the car is locked, there's a rag stuffed in her tailpipe, and Maura Murray is just...gone.
In Episode 2, I talk about the timeline, a man with an ever-evolving story, a Chrysler part found at the scene and the rag in the exhaust. What happened? Did Maura run? Did someone pick her up? Or...did someone make her disappear on purpose?
